Russia-Hamas
A delegation from Hamas has visited Russia’s capital, Moscow, where talks included the release of hostages, according to Russian news agencies on Thursday, citing the country’s foreign ministry. Senior Hamas member Abu Marzouk was among those attending the meeting, according to Russian state-owned news agency TASS. “He attended meetings in continuation of the Russian course towards the release of foreign hostages in the Gaza Strip,” Tass wrote. Among other things, Marzouk is reported to have spoken about evacuating Russians and other foreigners from Gaza. Dmitry Peskov, spokesman for the Russian president, said there were no plans for meetings between the Hamas delegation and Putin.
