Ryanair reopens in Copenhagen Airport

Ryanair will reopen its base at Copenhagen Airport in December, the airline said on Tuesday. Two aircraft will have a permanent place at the airport, enabling the Irish low-cost carrier to better service early and late flights in and out of the airport. The base complements the Ryanair base in Billund, which also houses two aircraft. Ryanair currently flies 20 routes to and from Copenhagen and is the third largest operator at the airport after SAS and Norwegian. Four more routes will be added for the winter season – Düsseldorf, Faro, Paris and Warsaw, and there will be more departures to Gdansk and Krakow. /ritzau/
