Some movement in Kastrup’s ATC problem
The parties to the air traffic controller (ATC) dispute have not yet reached an agreement, but had a “good discussion” on Monday, according to Naviair, which handles aviation traffic management in Denmark, after a meeting Monday with the ATC association Datca. “We have met with Datca today and had a good discussion,” Naviair’s acting CEO, Mads Kvist Eriksen, said in a comment. “We have agreed that Naviair will come up with a new proposal for negotiation, which we will submit to Datca later this week. The we will meet again next Tuesday, May 30.” Naviair has declined to comment. Datca also made a positive statement after Monday’s meeting during a conflict that has affected thousands of passengers at Copenhagen Airport, and where accusations have flown back and forth between the parties. /ritzau/
