A Koran burning in Sweden may have inspired two Syrian brothers to plan a terrorist attack against a Swedish church, German police suspect. The German newspaper Die Welt reports that German police arrested a 28-year-old Syrian and his four years younger brother about a month ago. They are said to have been arrested in Hamburg and Kempten in Bavaria respectively. On Wednesday, chief prosecutor Liddy Oechtering elaborated on the suspicion. “Investigators have reviewed emails and chat messages between the brothers. You can see that it was a Swedish church. The investigation is still ongoing,” she told Swedish news agency TT. /ritzau/
