In Sweden, the government will allocate SEK 11 billion for tax relief for “ordinary wage earners”, the government announced on Monday at a press conference about the country’s budget for the autumn, according to TT. “Now we want to make sure that those on low and middle incomes are allowed to keep more after tax,” said Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
Among other things, the government will introduce employment deductions for ordinary wage earners. The proposal will result in a tax reduction of SEK 14,000 a year for a family consisting of a police officer and a nurse. /ritzau/
