Two killed during skirmish in W. Bank

Two children have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank city of Jenin, according to the West Bank Health Ministry on Wednesday afternoon, the Israeli media Haaretz reports. One child is a nine-year-old boy. On Wednesday morning, Haaretz wrote that four Palestinians had been wounded in an explosion in Jenin. This happened while the Israeli military was conducting an operation in the area. An Israeli military source said there had been shootouts between Israeli soldiers and “armed terrorists,” according to Haaretz. The latter allegedly threw explosives at the soldiers. /ritzau/
