Late on Thursday evening Danish time, the U.S. House of Representatives voted in favour of a new temporary budget agreement to prevent a shutdown of parts of the public sector Reuters reported. The deal has been given the green light in both houses of Congress after the Senate also approved the bill in a vote on Thursday. It will now be sent to U.S. President Joe Biden for final approval. The agreement is supposed to secure funding for the federal government until March 1. /ritzau/
