Confidence in President Volodymyr Zelenskiy is falling in Ukraine, according to a new survey from Kyiv’s International Institute of Sociology (KIIS). The poll has been published in The Kyiv Independent newspaper. Today, about 62 percent of respondents express confidence in Zelenskiy. Last December, it was 84 percent. The proportion of Ukrainians without faith in Zelenskiy has increased from 5 to 18 percent over the same period. The poll comes at a time of friction between the head of the military, Valeriy Zaluzhniy, and Zelenskiy. The tensions have led to media speculation about a possible dismissal of Zaluzhniy. Only 2 percent of Ukrainians support such a removal, according to the survey. /ritzau/AFP/
