The United States can support the current draft UN Security Council resolution on humanitarian aid to Gaza, according to the US ambassador to the UN, Linda Thomas-Greenfield, Al Jazeera reports. She would not tell the media how she intends to vote, “but it will be a resolution – if the resolution is tabled as it is – that we can support”, she says. Linda Thomas-Greenfield did not elaborate to Al Jazeera on what the current draft resolution in the council contains. /ritzau/
