US Chapter 11 court approves SAS plan

The U.S. Chapter 11 bankruptcy court has approved investment in SAS from Castlelake, Air France-KLM, Lind Invest and the Danish state, the airline said in a press release late Tuesday evening. The parties had already agreed earlier in November on the agreement, which was to be finally approved in the United States. The total investment is SEK 13.2 billion ca. DKK. This corresponds to around 8.5 billion Danish kroner. “The investment agreement approved by the court today is a milestone in our SAS Forward plan and shows that our new investors believe in SAS and our potential,” said Anko van der Werff, President and CEO of SAS. /ritzau/
