Vermund goes to Liberal Alliance

A week after Pernille Vermund resigned from the NB party that she co-founded – she has found a new home. Vermund has become a member of the Liberal Alliance and thus part of the party’s parliamentary group, LA chairman Alex Vanopslagh said in a post on X. “I reached out to Pernille last year to talk about whether it would not be better for non-socialist Denmark if we concentrated and gathered forces – for example, by joining the Liberal Alliance,” Vanopslagh writes in the post. In an interview with Berlingske, Vermund says that she has not considered any other parties than the Liberal Alliance. She goes on to say that she will also run for the party in the next general election. /ritzau/
