Diez in new book: I never thought I’d get caught

Former literary critic Katherine Diez admits in her new book ‘I egen barm,’ to be released by People’s Publishing, that she never expected to be caught plagiarizing. She labels herself an ‘idiot’ and questions how she could have trusted in her own talent instead of plagiarizing. She details the plagiarism process, which involved saving excerpts without proper citation. Diez was exposed following a message from a stranger and subsequent allegations of plagiarism in her Berlingske columns and Instagram posts that began on Reddit. Multiple instances of plagiarism were uncovered during an investigation. Additionally, the 182-page book reveals personal details about her relationships with TV chef Adam Price and former Social Democrat climate minister Dan Jørgensen, prompting Price to deny and criticize her for violating his privacy.
