Crown Prince Christian celebrates birthday in East Africa

On Tuesday, Crown Prince Christian celebrated his 19th birthday in East Africa, marking his first birthday since becoming Crown Prince. The Danish Royal House announced the celebration on social media where a photo was shared, showing the prince who is currently travelling in East Africa. The journey began on September 4th. Prior to his departure, it was announced that he would be involved in the daily operations of two farms, tackling practical and administrative tasks to gain insight into local nature conservation. Information about his activities during the trip has been limited. The prince’s exact destinations in East Africa are not publicly known, as the Royal House has chosen not to share this information. Crown Prince Christian is expected to return to Denmark in December.
