Israeli military strikes Hezbollah arsenal
Israel’s military has launched airstrikes against Hezbollah rocket launchers in southern Lebanon Thursday evening, Israel reports. These attacks were directed at numerous launchers deemed a threat to Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has vowed to persist in dismantling Hezbollah’s infrastructure to safeguard Israel. The exact locations of the strikes and any resultant damage are unknown. The situation has escalated since an attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7 last year. Leading up to today’s strikes, Tuesday and Wednesday witnessed explosions in Beirut, killing 37 and injuring around 3,000, with Hezbollah blaming Israel and hinting at retaliation. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility for these blasts, while security sources suggest Mossad’s involvement.
