Woman escapes serious injury after amusement park accident

On Saturday, a woman sustained minor injuries at Tivoli Friheden amusement park in Aarhus. According to Sunday’s report, she experienced no fractures or serious injuries. ‘She has some bruises, and it was certainly a very traumatic event,’ stated Rene Ludvig, duty officer at the East Jutland Police, to TV 2 Østjylland. The woman was taken to the hospital after supposedly losing her grip on the ‘Trætop’ skyride and subsequently hitting a tree with her back. Tivoli Friheden’s director, Henrik Olesen, informed B.T. that the skyride would remain closed until there was more clarity on the incident. East Jutland Police announced on social media that the ride will stay closed until certain issues are addressed, as per a mutual decision between the police and the park.
