Danish ministry to probe Palestinian terror links

The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs will further investigate a case involving a board substitute of The Danish House in Palestine who was convicted of membership in the terrorist organization PFLP. The substitute, Daoud Ghoul, received the conviction in 2016. Despite being aware of the verdict since 2019, the Ministry did not initially cease support for the institution. Following inquiries from the media outlet B.T., the Ministry has entered into renewed dialogue for additional clarification. The outcome could lead to potential consequences, and updates will be provided to spokespersons. The collaboration agreement with The Danish House in Palestine is set to expire by the end of 2025. Denmark currently does not provide direct support to the Palestinian Authority but supports civil organizations, which was briefly paused following attacks from Hamas on Israel on October 10 before resuming after a detailed review to ensure Danish funds do not support attacks on Israel.
