Telia Denmark to become Norlys Mobil next year

Next year, the 1.9 million customers of Telia Denmark will experience a change, as their mobile service provider will be rebranded to Norlys Mobil. The transition comes after Norlys A/S purchased Telia’s Danish mobile business for a substantial billion-kroner amount. Claus Flyger Pejstrup, CEO of Norlys A/S, asserts that the move will not affect the technical service but will enhance the presence of the Norlys brand among Danes. Additionally, Telia’s physical stores included in the deal will also be renamed Norlys, except for the low-cost brand ‘Call Me,’ which remains independent. Norlys, which operates in fields including energy, internet, and TV, aims to integrate the mobile business with its other services. Telia Denmark, founded in 1995 by its Swedish parent company, owns half of the TT network, a joint venture with Telenor from Norway.
