Swedish boys hired for murders in Denmark

Copenhagen Police have reported that cases involving young Swedes hired for serious attacks in Denmark are going to court. Two boys, aged 15 and 16, have been charged with attempted murder, while a 19-year-old is expected to confess to detonating a hand grenade near a jewelry store. The 15-year-old was allegedly provided with pistols by a 59-year-old man to shoot members of the Comanches gang in Brøndby, but the attempt failed possibly because the intended victims were not present. The 16-year-old later arrived to receive a firearm for an unclear assassination target. According to special prosecutor Andreas Emil Christensen, the thwarted attacks are largely due to police effort. In August, Justice Minister Peter Hummelgaard noted at least 25 instances of criminals recruiting young Swedes for violence in Denmark. Also, a 19-year-old upcoming trial involves an explosion in Valby that caused significant property damage but no injuries.
